Cellulite is a fanciful name for accumulation of fat that pushes against connective tissues under a person’s skin. This condition causes valleys and bumpy peaks to appear on the surface of the skin. Cellulite is not exactly a disease, but still, it can make you uncomfortable.
Women are the most susceptible to this condition than men. This is because of natural disposition of their tissues and cells that provide for fat accumulation in a way resulting to development of this condition. Though women’s hormones play a role in furthering this fat distribution, cellulite can’t be treated by a hormone therapy.
People who are victims to this condition are extremely worried about it. Weight problems are not necessarily the cause of the condition. It’s also hereditary and condition may have been passed from the parents. This is the reason why people who are not overweight may develop the condition.
